Stephen Hagberg, MD, completed his residency at Eglin Hospital, FL, where he was recognized as Resident of the Year. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Temple University School of Medicine, Philadelphia, PA, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Grove City College, PA, with majors in Molecular Biology and Psychology.

With extensive leadership in family medicine, Dr. Hagberg most recently served as Program Director at Heritage Valley Family Medicine Residency Program, overseeing resident training and program compliance. He has previous experience as Associate Program Director and served as a Family Medicine Physician at Misawa Air Base in Japan. Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Hagberg has experience as a Hospice Medical Director at Gallagher Hospice, LLC, and worked as a Hospitalist at Heritage Valley Health System, Beaver Campus. He has also held academic appointments as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
