Doctors use lab tests to learn more about your health and give you the best possible care. You can get those tests done quickly and professionally right here at Guadalupe Regional Medical Center (GRMC). Our outpatient clinic offers convenient walk-in testing, and our main hospital lab delivers high-quality, fast results for our hospital patients and our emergency department 24 hours a day.

• The rooms where we perform blood draws and collect other lab specimens are private. Our phlebotomists are friendly, compassionate and highly trained.
• We are accredited by The Joint Commission and certified with CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvements Amendment). Our lab has regular inspections to ensure quality.

Here are some additional highlights of our lab clinic that also make us a great choice:

Walk-in lab clinic with extended hours

• We offer outpatient lab services Monday through Friday, from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• The outpatient lab is located near the central entrance to the hospital, close to easy parking. You don’t need an appointment to receive a lab service. Please check in with the front registration desk. A team member will then escort you to our lab clinic.

Specialized lab testing—right here in Seguin

Our broad range of services includes many specialized tests that other hometown hospitals might not offer. You can be confident that we have you covered. That’s true whether you need a diabetes test, a hormone test, a cholesterol check, an EKG or many other tests.

We offer pathology and histology services in partnership with Clinical Pathology Associates. That means you have access to highly specialized testing of a variety of tissue samples to give your doctor the information they need for a diagnosis or treatment plan.

We also offer testing services that your employer might request. These include drug screening and breath alcohol testing.

GRMC’s lab is staffed by certified laboratory professionals. We have a state-of-the-art laboratory capable of advanced procedures, such as molecular testing. Full automation in the core lab boosts efficiency.

Our advanced equipment and skilled staff allow us to perform most tests right here in the hospital. And we can often deliver fast results—so you and your doctor have the information you need when you need it.

We also partner with national reference labs to offer you even more specialized testing options while ensuring you get the hometown care you count on.
