GRMC’s governing Board of Managers is composed of seven members: three appointed by the Guadalupe County Commissioners' Court, three appointed by the Seguin municipal government, and one appointed by the Commissioners' Court and municipal government acting jointly. Each member serves for a term of six years. Board members generously devote their time and energies to maintain Guadalupe Regional Medical Center's advances in care, facilities and services. Robert D. Galloway, Ph.D., Board Chairman

Dr. Galloway holds a Bachelor of Science, a Masters in Healthcare Administration, and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology. He served in the United States Army and has taught extensively, including his present position at Texas Lutheran University – Seguin.

James Lee, M.D., Vice Chair

Dr. Lee received his medical degree from UTHSC in San Antonio and completed his residency in Family Practice at John Petersmith in Fort Worth. Dr. Lee has been a member of the local Mental Health & Mental Retardation (MHMR) Board for 30 years. Dr. Lee retired from his medical practice in 2009 after 32 years of serving as a Family Practitioner in Seguin.

Clarence Little, Secretary

Mr. Little was born and raised in Seguin, and graduated from Ball High School. Mr. Little retired after 37 years working first as a sixth grade teacher and later as principal in Seguin. He had a very successful career as Principal of four schools: Lizzie M. Burges, Juan Seguin, Mary B. Erskine, and Ball Elementary.

Dave Calkins, Member

Mr. Calkins served 20 years in the United States Air Force and has held various administrative state and local government positions. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupation Education and currently works as the Business Development Manager for Williams-Stackhouse Incorporated.

Dolores Major, M.D., Member
Appointed 2007
Dr. Major received her medical degree from UTHSC in San Antonio. She completed a pediatric internship and anesthesia residency at the University Medical Center in San Antonio. Dr. Major has provided excellent anesthesia services at this hospital since 1994. Dr. Major currently works as an anesthesiologist at GRMC.

Louis R. Ramirez, Sr., Member

A Navy veteran, born and raised in Seguin with an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts, Mr. Ramirez worked 40 years providing services to indigent citizens in 11 rural counties including administration of several health clinics. Currently he is a benefits specialist with Allstate Insurance Company and is very involved in various community organizations.

Eric Vordenbaum, Member

Mr. Vordenbaum was born and raised in Seguin. He graduated from Seguin High School and Texas Lutheran College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. He currently works as a CPA with Walker and Vordenbaum, CPAs in Seguin.
